Most of the time my pictures just come into being while I am painting.
This time it was different. The inspiration came from nature
I sat on a bench in the warm spring sun and closed my eyes.
Do you know that feeling when you look at the sun with your eyes closed?
It is totally bright and it feels like the whole body is flooded with this energy.
That was the idea for this picture.
I painted it with lots of gold and as soon as the sun or even just light shines on it, it is as if the sun is rising. It starts to shine and floods the whole room with this solar energy.
