Dear mountain friends,
This painting is a window to a special moment in my life, a moment of awe and deep connection with nature. When my father and I reached the summit of the wild Fraiger (3418) m last summer and sat down there, surrounded by the majestic beauty of the mountain and glacier landscape, this indescribable energy flowed through me. An energy that penetrated me to my deepest cells and made me merge with the cosmos itself.
At that moment, I realized more than ever that the mountains are more than just massive rocks. They are living beings that carry an infinite energy within them. An energy that makes us light and free, that connects us to the world around us and reminds us that we are part of a greater whole.
The idea of capturing this experience on canvas arose from a deep inner urge to share the power and energy of the mountains with others. Because every detail of this painting carries the memory of this magical moment. The colors, the shapes, the structures - they all tell the story of our majestic giants and let you share in the feeling of freedom and connection.
